Since 1987, IFES has worked in over 145 countries, from developing to mature democracies.

IFES Ukraine requires the services of a Senior IT Specialist to support IFES Ukraine office. The selected service provider will be responsible for supporting our organization’s IT infrastructure upon request, including but not limited to the following: 

Scope of Work:

• Ensure the stable operation and security of IT systems, networks, and user workstations;
• Provide technical support to staff (hardware, software, accounts, connectivity);
• Administer user access, devices, servers, and cloud services;
• Providing regular status updates for the staff on IT security issues and prompt notice in case of possible alerts, cyber-attacks, etc.;
• Support cybersecurity, data backup, and incident-response procedures;
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed;
• Prepare brief technical documentation and guidance for users;
• Track equipment inventory and support annual inventory checks;
• Assisting in the organization of presentations, audio- and videoconferencing (equipment setup, configuration, and testing);
• Working with IFES HQ IT staff to configure user accounts, attain licenses, provide access to IFES resources;
• Visit the office to provide prompt assistance in IT issues per request if the physical presence is needed.

Deliverables:

• Stable operation of user workstations, network, and core IT services;
• Accurate inventory of user accounts, equipment, and licenses;
• Identified risks documented with mitigation actions;
• Security recommendations implemented and documented.

Professional requirements:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in international relations, political science, cybersecurity/IT is preferred;
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience;
• Solid record in cooperation with international technical assistance projects, embassies, well-known international organizations, and non-governmental organizations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluency in written and spoken English and Ukrainian languages is required.

PRICING:

Pricing must be in US Dollars. The proposed price should contain a detailed cost, with all applicable taxes/charges clearly identified, provided against each of the categories of services described in this request.

IFES is VAT exempt in Ukraine, and the selected contractor must honor this exemption.
