Position Summary

Momentum Wheels for Humanity (MWH) seeks a Driver and Logistic support Assistant to transport authorized passengers on their official duties, transport cargo safely and provide basic logistics support for MWH’s portfolio of projects in Ukraine, inclusive of emergency response programs designed to strengthen capacity for the provision of rehabilitation services relevant to the current conflict. The Driver and Logistic support Assistant will be engaged in transportation, vehicle maintenance, and collecting and distributing project supplies and materials. Only candidates with work authorization in Ukraine will be considered; relocation benefits will not be provided.

Expected Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to MWH’s the Ukraine Logistic and Procurement Coordinator will have the following responsibilities: 

• Provide support to the country office with driving and delivery services on a daily basis
• Understand and follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Accurately keep the vehicle log sheets
• Performance of daily vehicle inspections, making sure the vehicle is in a suitable condition for the trip
• Applying the standard regulations and procedures in case of an accident
• Assist the Logistics team in procurements, supplies distribution, and deliveries in adherence to the relevant policies
• The track that all supporting delivery documents are accurate and complete
• Follow emergency travel procedures while driving
• Ability and willingness to undertake frequent trips to and from field locations 
• Commitment to working to serve humanitarian needs in line with the values of integrity, service, and accountability

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driving license in category B
• A valid driving license in category C is a benefit
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• At least four years of driving experience
• Experience working with national and/or international NGOs, and/or multilateral organizations is a benefit
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills 
• Flexibility and ability to solve problems
• Good computer skills 
• Written and spoken fluency in Ukrainian
• Basic written and spoken fluency in English is an asset

 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in driving and supplies delivery, logistic support
• Experience in working in the NGO environment
