INTERSOS is the Italian humanitarian organization at the forefront of serious emergencies to bring immediate assistance and help to the victims of wars, violence, natural disasters and extreme exclusion, with particular attention to the protection of the most vulnerable people. Since 1992, our workers have brought relief to populations hit by humanitarian crises: we provide medical care, distribute basic necessities and emergency shelters. We help meet basic needs such as the right to food, water, health, protection and education. INTERSOS operators are in Ukraine , Poland and Moldova to guarantee medical care, protection and psychosocial support to people fleeing the fighting, with particular attention to the most vulnerable, such as women and children.
