Пакт шукає консультанта(-ку) з комунікацій/Pact seeks Communications Consultant

Background

Pact seeks a Consultant to provide communication services for anticipated FCDO-funded project Women Leading Response and Recovery in Ukraine, which is aimed at strengthing organizational, technical, adaptive and influencing capacities of WROs to lead a coordinated, gender-sensitive assistance response to relief and recovery and support the WPS agenda in Ukraine.

The project is implemented by a consortium of seven partner women’s CSOs(Chaika (Rivne), Dom 48.24 (Ivano-Frankivsk), Gender Creative Space (Lutsk), Oleksandria Gender Information Space (Kirovograd), Vidrodzhennya Natsiyi (Ternopil), and nationally – Women Lawyers Association JurFem and CSO “Divchata”) and consulting agency OneHealth. 

The Communication Consultant will describe and promote activities and achievements of partner women’s organizations and support communication channels of the Project.

Main purpose of consultancy/technical support

• Development of texts, visual and multimedia materials for the project outreach activities and event-related communications products;
• Management of social media platforms;
• Development of Stories of Change highlighting the work of partner organizations;
• Website content preparation (longreads on the project activities/results);
• Adaptation of the materials for the English or Ukrainian version;
• Ensure that all communication products meet the requirements;
• Monitoring of the development and clearance of visual, written and multimedia products produced by project’s sub-grantees;
• Media database maintaining, drafting of press releases and cooperation with national mass media;
• Cooperation with Coms of the Pact’s Global Office(on request);
• Perform other tasks.

Deliverables

1. Necessary communication materials and products(up to 2 longreads on the project activities/results, 10 stories of change, press releases on request, posts and visuals, etc) are developed;
2. Social media platforms are managed (up to 2 publications per week are published at the Pact’s Ukraine Facebook page)

• Up to 2 articles based on project results are published in the national mass media;

1. Monitoring is provided and analytics is provided.

Timeline:

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:  January 9, 2023 – March 31, 2023.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CONSULTANT:

• Experience developing and implementing communications strategies, plans, and activities.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), social media and website applications, analytics tools.
• High-level interpersonal and communication skills, as well as stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with community-based organizations and/or key populations in Ukraine.
