Project Summary
The USAID/Ukraine Energy Security Project (ESP) is a USAID funded project operating country-wide with the mission to enhance Ukraine’s energy security, to improve the energy legal and regulatory environment and to increase resilience of energy supply, which will help Ukraine to achieve broad-based, resilient economic development to sustain country’s democracy. ESP will work closely with the Government of Ukraine (GOU) and the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC) to correctly implement EU directives-based and competitive energy markets. By doing so, Ukraine will facilitate private sector-led energy investments, increase renewable energy generation and provide secure, reliable, and affordable energy for all Ukrainians.
Position Summary
The ESP is looking to fill one or more positions on the Communications Team, for a graphic designer to help design and develop program materials communicating ESP activities and energy sector reform in print and online media. The Graphic Designer (or Designers) will report to a Communications Manager. All positions are based in Kyiv.

Main Responsibilities
- Design and layout of factsheets, brochures, manuals, and publications
- Development of infographics
- Layout and graphics for power point slide decks
- Develop and or edit presentations
- Design of signage and banners for use at conferences, meetings, and workshops
- Design and production of collateral for conferences and other public events
- Design of other related materials required to promote the program impacts
- Follow USAID graphics standards and project branding and marking requirements
- Organize printing and distribution of these materials.
Qualifications
- A degree in a related field
- Proven experience providing graphic design for presentations and publications
- Proven proficiency with graphic design software
- Proficient in office computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).
- Fluent in Ukrainian and Russian.
- Proficiency in English (written, read, spoken, and heard).
- Understanding of energy sector is a plus.
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance and a motivated self-starter.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with USAID projects is a plus.
