The program “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and the Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (Quality Food Trade Program – QFTP) is a Swiss-Ukrainian cooperation program funded by the Swiss Government with the aim to increase value added trade from the organic and dairy sector, both domestic and export market. Financial Manager / Accountant (100%)

Job duties and responsibilities

• Managing finances and Program accounts, including annual financial audits
• Organizing financial documentation circulation, filling, collecting, and, checking financial documents
• Drafting of contracts for staff and service providers
• Preparing and executing all payments in line with Ukrainian legislation and project standards
• Carry out quarterly reporting to FiBL Switzerland
• Carry out reporting to the tax office on VAT issues according to Ukrainian law
• Communication and work with the GDIP
• Keep a Program inventory of assets
• Support external (Ukrainian) audit company during the annual financial audit
• Active contribution to a good team spirit

Job qualifications and requirements

• Previous working experience for at least 5 years with the implementation of tasks similar as mentioned above
• Excellent portfolio with a proven track record of successful examples
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
• Master’s degree in finance or accountancy.
• Excellent language skills Ukrainian, English (both oral and written)
• Excellent self-organizational skills
• Experience in international technical assistance projects in Ukraine
