Механізм підтримки фахівців для реформ оголошує вакансію Експерта з комунікацій Проектного офісу секторальної децентралізації.
Project Office for Sectoral Decentralization (POSD) – independent non-governmental structure, established by the Ministry of Regional Development with support of Expert Deployment for Governance and Economic Growth (EDGE) Project, which is being implemented by Agriteam Canada Consulting Ltd.
POSD activities will be focused on organization and support of decentralization sectoral policies development in certain ministries and agencies.
Position Summary:
Communication Expert – will provide communication support to activities of the POSD ensuring proper media coverage and public expectancy.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Master degree, preferably in Journalism, Public relations or other related areas;
- Extensive practical experience in Communication, Media or PR;
- Fluency in English and ability to speak and write Ukrainian and Russian would be a definite asset.
Indicative duties and responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of the communication strategy;
- Coordinate all communication activities of POSD;
- Create and strengthen the positive image of the decentralization reform, including the relevant sectoral trends;
- Keep up to date contacts of the POSD experts;
- Responsible for the organization of events (press conferences, round tables, conferences,etc.) that POSD holds;
- Coordination and cooperation on communication issues with the Ministry of Regional Development and other key ministries that closely collaborate with POSD, other stakeholders and projects of ITA working in relevant areas of decentralization reform;
- Communicate with the media regarding the placement and distribution of materials that are POSD products (Internet, print media, radio, TV, etc.);
- Write and edit press releases, announcements, articles, interviews;
- Develop presentations, information brochures, corporate materials as well as to work with printing-office on materials design and printing.
Contract Duration and Timing:
The total duration of the consultancy is expected to be 6 months, with possible extension for another 6 months.
