Project Details:
Alinea International is seeking to expand its roster of experts in Political Economy Analysis (PEA) to support upcoming business development initiatives in Ukraine. As we continue to design and deliver innovative solutions to complex development challenges, we recognize the critical importance of understanding the political, institutional, and economic contexts in which we work.
This initiative aims to:
- Strengthen understanding of Ukraine’s evolving political economy.
- Explore factors shaping the delivery and impact of international assistance across multiple sectors (humanitarian, reforms, fiscal policy, social policy, etc.)
- Encourage the use of political economy insights to inform decision-making and engagement.
We invite qualified professionals with expertise in PEA as we actively prepare for multiple upcoming hires across a range of roles—from strategic leadership and coordination to technical analysis and stakeholder engagement. This open call is part of our proactive efforts to identify and engage with top-tier consultants who can contribute to future programming and proposals.
We are looking for consultants at various levels, including:
- Lead roles (e.g., Manager, Senior Analysts)
- Mid-level experts (e.g., Technical Specialists, Coordinators)
- Support roles (e.g., Research Officers, Analysts)
Key Areas of Expertise: We are particularly interested in professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Political Economy Analysis in fragile or transitional contexts
- Governance and institutional reform
- Stakeholder mapping and power dynamics
- Public sector engagement and policy analysis
- Conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding
- Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) in governance
- Sector-specific PEA (e.g., education, health, environment, economic development)
- Data visualization and evidence communication
- Research uptake, capacity building, and advocacy
Who Should Apply: We welcome applications from individuals who:
- Have a strong background in social sciences, public policy, or related fields
- Possess relevant experience conducting PEA or related analytical work in Ukraine
- Have worked with international donors such as FCDO, GAC, USAID, EU, or UN agencies
- Are fluent in English and native Ukrainian
- Are based in or have deep contextual knowledge of Ukraine
