The Financial Sector Reform Activity (FSR) in Ukraine is a five-year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and managed by DAI Global LLC (DAI). The purpose of the activity is to transform the country’s financial sector into a sophisticated, well-functioning, competitive market that is aligned with European Union (EU) standards and integrated into international financial systems. This transformation will mobilize private finance for sustained economic growth in Ukraine.

The FSR is looking for candidates to fill in the Business Analyst, STTA position.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Business Analyst explores the problems of business, looks for a solution, and draws up its concept in the form of requirements that developers will be guided by when creating a software product. He/she is expected to work with companies and government agencies in the financial sector.

OBJECTIVES AND DUTIES:

•  Gather, analyze, and formalize business requirements.
• Work with analysis tools: model business processes and data, prototype user interface, write use cases.
• Define the concept of a solution for processes digitalization.
• Create functional and technical requirements for identified solutions that will be used by software developers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Higher education in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, Master’s degree is a preference.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in business analysis or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT projects in the financial sector.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other tools used to conduct and communicate analytics and projects.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
• Experience working on USAID or other donor-funded projects will be an advantage.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English (at least Advanced level).
