Position Summary

Momentum Wheels for Humanity (Momentum) seeks a Ukraine Warehouse Management System Development & Information Technology (IT) Consultant to develop or adapt a warehouse inventory management system for Momentum’s assistive technology (AT) regional center; oversee, maintain, and update the inventory management system as needed; and train/support Momentum’s AT regional center staff on the use of the system. The Ukraine Warehouse Management IT consultant will work under the direction of the Ukraine Country Director and Ukraine AT Hub Coordinator, and in close coordination with Momentum’s AT technical team in Ukraine as well as the Ukraine Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Coordinator. Only candidates with work authorization in Ukraine will be considered; relocation benefits will not be provided. The Ukraine Warehouse Management IT Consultant must be based in Ukraine, preferably L’viv.

Expected Duties and Responsibilities  

Reporting to the Ukraine Country Director and Ukraine AT Hub Coordinator, the Ukraine Warehouse Management System Development & IT Consultant will have the following responsibilities: 

• Develop or adapt a warehouse inventory management system that meets the needs of and supports the operations of Momentum’s AT regional center and fulfills related project monitoring requirements
• Maintain the warehouse inventory management system; make updates to the system as needed to ensure optimal functionality
• Quickly resolve problems/inaccuracies with the warehouse inventory management system
• Ensure friendly full stack user interface
• Recommend or develop additional tools or features as needed to support the implementation of the warehouse inventory management system and AT regional center activities
• Coordinate with Momentum staff on a regular basis to brainstorm/consider additional features, functions, needs, and integrations required from the inventory management system
• Train AT regional center staff on the use of the inventory management system and provide ongoing technical support
• Provide regular updates to the AT Hub Coordinator, Country Director, and Momentum HQ on the warehouse inventory management system establishment and operations 

Minimum Qualifications

• At least three (3) to five (5) years of relevant work experience for those with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or engineering, information technology, business/finance, or other relevant fields
• At least five (5) to seven (7) years for those without a bachelor’s degree in any relevant fields
• Demonstrated experience in establishing (developing, adapting, and implementing) inventory management systems
• Strong technical knowledge and skills related to inventory management system/database development and management such as programming languages (C++, C#, PHP, Python, JavaScript, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and other languages (CSS, HTML, etc.)
• Strong understanding of warehouse management policies, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory management
• Ability to set clear goals and manage progress toward them with timely completion
• Ability to work well independently and with a team
• Excellent and clear interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with good organization and prioritization skills
• Written and spoken fluency in Ukrainian; advanced written and spoken English abilities
