Position summary
The Occupational Therapy Specialization Consultant (OT Specialization Consultant) will be responsible for activities aimed at supporting five higher education institutions (HEIs) in organizing and delivering occupational therapy (OT) specialization cycles for practicing professionals. The scope includes assisting HEIs in the design/refinement of specialization curricula and developing teaching materials.

Key Responsibilities:
The OT Specialization Consultant will take on the following specific responsibilities during the consultancy period:
- Select five higher education institutions for collaboration on OT specialization, in coordination with the OT Technical Specialist.
- Review existing specialization programs and teaching materials at the selected universities; identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Develop support plans for the specialization programs at each selected HEI.
- Implement the support plans, providing ongoing methodological/technical assistance to the selected HEIs.
- Verify initiation of the updated specialization programs implementation at all five selected HEIs.
- Maintain regular communication with the selected HEIs and conduct site visits as needed.
- Coordinate continuously with the OT Technical Specialist.
- Promptly report any challenges or delays affecting activity implementation.
- Participate, as needed, in relevant working meetings.
- Complete monthly reporting and, upon request of the OT Technical Specialist, provide ad hoc information.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree required in a rehabilitation-related field (physical and occupational therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, assistive technology, etc.).
Professional Experience
- at least 5 years of experience in the field of education for rehabilitation specialists;
- experience in creating and implementing educational programmes, curricula and teaching recommendations;
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and time-management abilities;
