Position Title: (1121) Communications Manager on Regional and Local Community Development

Hours: Full Time

Duty Station: Kyiv (Flexible schedule)

Reports To: the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the hiring agency

Monthly salary: 75 000, Gross

About the Organization:

The mission of Camino is to empower communities through the provision of essential WASH, protection, and energy services, fostering resilience, dignity, and self-sufficiency. Camino is a newly established public organization that formed as the local organization of Water Mission International, who has been responding in Ukraine since the onset of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in 2022.

Job Summary:

The Project Office of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine is seeking a Communications Manager to support the decentralization reform and provide information support for regional and local community development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement communication strategies and plans to support regional and local community development.
• Prepare, edit, and adapt information materials (press releases, analytical briefs, speeches, media and social media publications) tailored to different audiences.
• Organize and provide information support for public events: forums, briefings, press conferences, round tables, and community field sessions.
• Liaise with regional and local authorities, community leaders, and representatives of civil society organizations.
• Coordinate cooperation with journalists, respond to media inquiries, and initiate information opportunities.
• Monitor regional information space, analyse coverage of local development issues, and prepare reports and recommendations.
• Develop and conduct information campaigns to support local and regional development projects.
• Ensure consistent style and messaging of communications in line with the brand book and official position of the organization.
• Coordinate with contractors (designers, copywriters, video production) to create high-quality thematic content.
• Perform other communication-related tasks in support of regional development.

Qualifications:

• Higher education in communications, journalism, PR, marketing, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in communications (preferably in projects related to community development).
• Experience in preparing and editing communication materials for various channels.
• Understanding of media operations and modern communication tools.
• Preferred Qualifications: Skills in organizing public events and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Ukrainian; knowledge of English is an asset.
• Proactivity, strong communication skills, and results orientation.

Проєктний офіс Міністерства розвитку громад та територій України шукає менеджера з комунікацій для висвітлення реформи децентралізації та інформаційну підтримку регіонального та місцевого розвитку громад.

Основні обов’язки:

• Розробка та реалізація комунікаційних стратегій і планів, спрямованих на підтримку регіонального та місцевого розвитку громад.

• Підготовка, редагування та адаптація інформаційних матеріалів (пресрелізи, аналітичні довідки, тези для виступів, публікації для медіа та соцмереж) з урахуванням потреб різних аудиторій.

• Організація та інформаційний супровід публічних заходів: форуми, брифінги, пресконференції, круглі столи, виїзні сесії у громадах.

• Взаємодія з регіональними та місцевими органами влади, лідерами громад та представниками громадських організацій.

• Координація співпраці з журналістами, відповіді на медіазапити та ініціювання інформаційних приводів.

• Моніторинг інформаційного простору у регіонах, аналіз висвітлення тем місцевого розвитку та підготовка звітів і рекомендацій.

• Розробка та проведення інформаційних кампаній на підтримку проєктів місцевого та регіонального розвитку.

• Забезпечення єдиного стилю та меседжів комунікацій відповідно до брендбуку та офіційної позиції організації.

• Координація роботи з підрядниками (дизайнери, копірайтери, відеопродакшн) для створення якісного тематичного контенту.

• Виконання інших завдань у межах напрямку комунікацій, пов’язаних із підтримкою регіонального розвитку.

Вимоги до кандидата:

• Вища освіта у сфері комунікацій, журналістики, PR, маркетингу або суміжних галузях.

• Досвід роботи у сфері комунікацій від 2 років (бажано у проєктах, пов’язаних із розвитком громад).

• Досвід підготовки та редагування комунікаційних матеріалів для різних каналів.

• Розуміння принципів роботи ЗМІ та сучасних інструментів комунікацій.

• Навички організації публічних заходів та координації з різними стейкхолдерами.

• Впевнене володіння українською мовою. Знання англійської мови буде перевагою.

• Проактивність, комунікабельність, орієнтованість на результат.
