DevOps Consultant – Infrastructure Design & Deployment for Suspilne AI Integration

DW Akademie іs looking for a highly skilled DevOps Consultant to design, document, and deploy the foundational server infrastructure of Suspilne (Ukraine’s Public Broadcaster) required for modernizing Suspilne’s newsroom and production workflows through the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The selected Consultant will architect and deploy the foundational infrastructure needed to support Suspilne’s new AI-based solutions including the proprietary “Suspilne AI Toolbox” for transcription, facial recognition, smart streaming, and AI-augmented news planning.

1. Deliverables

• Technical Workflow Document: Design efficient, scalable technical workflows for creating, testing, and operating AI-based systems. Create a comprehensive architectural map outlining the CI/CD pipelines, development environments, and production workflows optimized for AI-assisted code generation (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
• Infrastructure Technical Specifications (Tech Specs): Draft a detailed document outlining the server requirements, database architecture, network configurations, and security protocols required to host proprietary tools (AI Transcription Suite, Facial Recognition software, and Production Management systems).
• Secure API Integration Workflows: Design workflows for integrating enterprise-level AI APIs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise) into local applications securely, ensuring compliance with internal data governance policies.
• Infrastructure Deployment & Configuration: Successfully deploy, configure, and provision Docker/Kubernetes environments and necessary microservices directly on Suspilne’s on-premises server capacities, adhering strictly to the approved technical specifications.
• Backend & Database Architecture: Establish secure databases and backend architectures (e.g., Supabase) to support seamless metadata tagging, user-generated content gathering, and archive integration.
• Security & Gateways: Ensure all deployments adhere to standard cybersecurity protocols, set up secure reverse proxies (e.g., Nginx, Traefik), manage SSL/TLS certificates, and secure API gateway connections to external Large Language Models (LLMs).

2. Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or System Administration.
• Deep expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Strong understanding of Supabase (PostgreSQL, row-level security, realtime subscriptions) for rapid backend deployment.
• Clear understanding of AI-assisted software development lifecycles, including prompt-driven development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Lovable, GitHub Copilot).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience setting up secure reverse proxies, managing SSL/TLS certificates, and ensuring secure API gateway connections to external LLMs.

3. Working Framework

• Expected engagement time frame: June – July 2026.
• Expected scope of work: Total of 15 working days within the project period.
• Format: Deployment on Suspilne’s local/on-premises servers with hybrid/remote preparatory coordination.
