Гранти Defenders of Ukraine Fund на підтримку ветеранів війни в Україні

Конгрес Українців Канади та Фонд Канада-Україна запрошують подавати заявки на участь в проектах, що спрямовані допомагати ветеранам війни в Україні.

Applications are being sought for projects which benefit of Ukraine’s wounded soldiers and veterans. The Fund was established thanks to the generosity of donors for the UCC’s Gala Reception in Honour of Ukraine’s Invictus Team. Applications are due on February 15, 2018.
“Thanks to the generous support of donors during the Gala Reception for Invictus Team Ukraine, the UCC will be able to support projects that work for the benefit of Ukraine’s wounded soldiers and veterans,” stated Paul Grod, National President of UCC. “As Russia continues to wage war on Ukraine, we have a duty to Ukraine’s defenders to provide them with support. The UCC is honoured to help these brave men and women, who are an inspiration to us all.”
“The Canada-Ukraine Foundation is pleased to partner with the UCC on this important initiative,” stated Victor Hetmanczuk, President of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation. “The Defenders of Ukraine Fund will provide meaningful support to many organizations whose vital projects are providing much-needed help to Ukraine’s wounded warriors.”
Ukraine’s Armed Forces are defending their homeland against a foreign invader. They are Ukraine’s finest sons and daughters and they deserve our admiration, respect and support. For almost four years, Russia has waged a brutal war of aggression against Ukraine. Since 2014, over 10,000 people have been killed and over 23,000 wounded.
Applications are due on February 15, 2018.
