Вакансія: Media Affairs Manager

Background
Alinea International has been contracted by the UK Government to establish a strategic communications support platform. This platform will support Ukraine government communications activities and priorities by assembling top talent in a format designed to meet the increased public demand for transparent communication caused by Russia’s illegal full scale invasion of Ukraine.

Scope of work:
The expert will ensure all activities are delivered in time and are appropriately documented. S/he is expected to work closely with the Team Lead in Ukraine and participate in relevant project meetings. The broad scope under this position includes the following components:

• Manage and overseeing planning of communications and media projects within the Alinea Strategic Communications Support Team.
• Work closely with the Content Lead and Social Strategist to develop a media strategy and goals for the Alinea Strategic Communications Support Team.
• Manage and coordinate a team of writers, designers, and creatives to develop and implement media campaigns.
• Develop and oversee messaging frameworks, media plans, and tactical channel plans.
• Provide quality assurance to all media and campaign materials to ensure a cohesive approach is maintained.
• Measuring effectiveness of communication messages and building audience journey and engagement for campaigns.

Expert Profile:
The expert is expected to meet the following requirements related to her/his qualification, skills and professional experience:

• A creatively minded manager with proven track record of managing cross-functional teams in communication projects.
• Demonstrated experience in communications for social impact projects and campaigns supported by international donors, government agencies and the private sector.
• Experience in crisis communications.
• Strong knowledge and experience in social media and media outlets in Ukraine.
• Ability to working in ambiguity is considered a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding and skills of designing data-driven communications based on audience insights and specific characteristics of distinct target audiences.
• Experience of planning behaviour change campaigns aimed to influence/change specific behaviours and actions of target audiences to achieve positive impact.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian, written and spoken; proficiency in English is desired.

For contracting (after the job offer is made), the selected candidate is expected to be registered as a Private Entrepreneur of the 3d group (consultancy services).
