Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Ukraine is seeking a qualified professional for Country Office in Kyiv to fill the position of the:
HR Assistant (full-time, Kyiv)

Area of responsibilities:
- Assists managers in drawing up job descriptions and job announcements.
- Publishes job announcements on all recruitment platforms used in GIZ UA.
- Downloads applications for all the vacancies from all the recruitment platforms.
- Assists in organising the selection process (e.g. interviews).
- Takes care of proper employment process and termination process for GIZ employees (collecting documents, drafting termination agreements, delivering Labour books, cooperating with GDIP etc.).
- Checks reference, assists with notification of unsuccessful applicants, documents the selection process, archives the documentation and enters the data in existing HRM systems.
- Responsible for delivering a welcome letter to all newcomers and updating security team about the changes.
- Organizes timely payment on the invoices related to HR.
- Responsible for the proper filing of all the documentation (personnel files, orders, staff requests).
Requirements
- BA/MSc degree in social sciences, economics, psychology (if possible, with a focus on HR management) or comparable degree.
- An initial experience in assistant role or experience in HR field would be an asset.
- At least upper-intermediate level of English language, German language would be an asset.
- Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, Teams).
- Knowledge of HR management, knowledge of national labour and social law would be an asset.
- Awareness of how to handle HR issues appropriately (confidentiality, data protection).
- Very good communication skills and client-orientation.
- Readiness and desire to work in the office.
- Stress-resistance and good time-management.

Employment conditions
Full-time position with 40-hours working week. Place of assignment is Kyiv. The contract duration is 1 year. Prolongation is possible.
