Organizational Context and Scope
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, the MHPSS Programme Manager and the direct supervision of the Programme Officer (MHPSS), the incumbent will support the implementation of IOM’s disability inclusion activities and mainstreaming efforts in different regions across Ukraine. |
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Assist in organizing Disability Inclusion (DI) informational sessions, trainings, workshops, and awareness-raising activities.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for activities related to inclusive and accessible programming, the implementation of DI, including meetings, workshops, and information-sharing.
- Support the administrative and coordination tasks related to the integration of DI activities across different projects and sectors (e.g., shelter, housing, NFI, protection, MHPSS, health, and livelihoods).
- Support the preparation and follow-up of DI activity plans, schedules, and related documentation.
- Assist in compiling information and updates from IOM programmes on DI-related activities.
- Assist in communication and coordination with IOM units, local authorities, civil society organizations, including local non-governmental organizations and OPDs, as requested.
- Assist with the collection, entry, and organization of DI activity data in IOM systems and databases.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATION
- High school diploma with at least five years of relevant experience; or,
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Social Policy, Disability Studies, Global Health, Special Education or Inclusive Education, from an accredited academic institution with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience providing administrative and logistical support for disability inclusion and/or psychosocial support activities (required).
- Experience assisting with the organization of trainings, workshops, or awareness sessions (required).
- Familiarity with working alongside persons with disabilities and/or community organizations of people with disabilities (desirable).
- Experience with basic data entry, filing, or record-keeping for projects (desirable).
- Previous experience in administrative or project support roles in the development or humanitarian sector (desirable).
SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of disability inclusion and accessibility concepts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially with diverse groups.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Organized and able to manage time effectively.
- Respectful, empathetic, and culturally sensitive when working with vulnerable populations.

REQUIRED
For this position, fluency in Ukrainian and English (oral and written), is required.
