INTRODUCTION
The Right to Protection, CF (R2P) is a charitable fund that strives for Ukraine to become a country where refugees, stateless, non-citizens and displaced persons enjoy dignity and protection.
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will report to MEAL Coordinator, and work in close cooperation with the development, programming, communication, and advocacy units and with support from the finance/administration unit.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contributes in to development of the monitoring tools in compliance with organizational and program needs;
- Contributes to internal databases development, their maintenance and improvement
- Ensures secondary data collection through programming sectors (food security and livelihood, shelter, protection, health etc), provides regular overview of OCHA clusters’ working groups outcomes;
- Ensures timely data collection from operational departments and programs responsibles, its processing and regular reporting to humanitarian partners;
- In close cooperation with program responsible assists in program bound questionnaire design and on the ground data collectors’ teams management and supervision upon the monitoring needs.
- Participates in the crossed teams field assessments, monitoring and evaluation to ensure quality of project activities
- In coordination with MEAl CO and Fundraising CO complements to project proposals / budgets development through providing situation analysis background information, setting up relevant monitoring frame as well as relevant process and result indicators
- Assists in organizational capacity building on improving MEAL standards and policies; promotes and briefs the colleagues on the best practices and lesson learned outputs
- Complements to ToR development for the subcontractors (such as It developers, research centers etc )
Undertake additional work, special tasks and research upon agreement with Management Unit.
Reporting & Accountability
- Comply with all relevant R2P policies and procedures, particularly with the code of conduct and the Accountability to Affected Population Policy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience;
- Minimum 1 year of progressive professional experience in M&E;
- Experience of working in humanitarian and development programmes is an advantage;
- Knowing of the Mobile Data Collection Software and tools would be an advantage
- Advanced Excel User
- Experience with the databases maintenance or CRMs management is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently upon agreed tasks,
- meet deadlines, attention to details;
- Fluency in English, Ukrainian and Russian (both written and spoken).
