Senior Trainer and Coordinator/Старший тренер

International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) seeks Senior Trainer and Coordinator for its Instructor Cadre Training Program in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP) in Ukraine. Position is full-time, based in Kyiv. Individual is expected to assist with development or adaptation of training curricula, materials; coordinate with content experts and external stakeholders; lead and deliver trainings. The ST will ensure review and update of all developed training materials; contribute to project activities’ design, planning, implementation, and reporting; act as liaison on all training program related matters; support the development and implementation of transition and sustainability strategies and retention of skilled instructors; help manage logistics as needed.

Requirements include:

• Master’s degree in public health, health education, education, or another related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

• 4+ years of experience developing and implementing training programs for adult learners.
• Demonstrated experience with training coordination, facilitation and education evaluation.
• Excellent computer/communication and diplomacy/writing and speaking skills.
• Excellent intrapersonal and time management skills, ability to work under pressure, and deliver on time, work both independently and in an international team.
• Fluency and proficiency in speaking and writing in English and Ukrainian languages. 

Desired:

• Experience working in an animal or human health-related program.
• Experience training health professionals using an interdisciplinary approach.
• Experience with institutionalization of training programs would be an advantage.
