Junior Expert in Dairy Component (100%)
The Swiss-Ukrainian Program “Higher Value-Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP) – funded by the Swiss Government. The overall goal of QFTP is to promote sustainable trade and create more and better jobs by strengthening the business competitiveness and capacities of SMEs in the organic and dairy sectors.
For strengthening our DAIRY team in Kyiv, we are seeking a DAIRY Junior Specialist (100%) who is interested in strengthening the team’s performance in implementing the activities to increase SMEs’ trade capacities in the domestic and export markets.
Place of work: Kyiv, Ukraine
Starting date: as soon as possible
Contract duration: until mid-2026, with option for extension until 2028
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Provide support to the team members in preparation and implementation of the activities, incl. event management, visits
- Collect and systematise performance-related documentation and materials in paper and electronic form
- Collect and analyse the data, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and consistency
- Provide support in the planning, monitoring and reporting
- Coordinate editing, proofreading, printing of the publications
- Provide internal administrative support
- Undertake other related tasks identified by the team members
Ideally, you have the following profile
- A Master in related disciplines (agriculture / livestock / milk processing technology / economics / management/ media&communication
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in related positions
- Understanding and knowledge of the international trade policy and management, Ukrainian dairy sector and international requirements related to milk quality and safety are preferred but not required
- Experience in international technical assistance projects is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and excellent self-organizational skills
- Accurate execution of tasks with attention to detail
- Oral and written fluency in English and Ukrainian
