The International Charitable Foundation “Alliance for Public Health” (Alliance) is a leading non-governmental professional organization which makes a significant impact on the epidemics of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, viral hepatitis, and other dangerous diseases in Ukraine in collaboration with key state partners and civil society organizations through providing financial and technical support to relevant programs covering over 300,000 members of the most vulnerable populations in Ukraine, which is the highest coverage in Europe.

PURPOSE: to provide effective management of KPIF activities for MSM: assess and map existing strategies to reach undiagnosed MSM; utilize effective outreach methods targeting new and more hidden segments of MSM, which currently have low access to the existent programs in order to ensure effective entry point into test and treat cascade. The Project Manager is responsible for implementation of Project’s day-to-day activities, including line management of technical staff and budget control. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Working experience with/in HIV-service organizations, governmental, and/or international institutions is required
• Public Health professional
• Experience in project formulation and evaluation
• Deep interest in innovative HIV related projects
• Strong commitment to confronting HIV/AIDS and motivation to work
• Extensive expertise, knowledge, and experience in the field of HIV prevention services for people living with HIV (MSM)
• Knowledge and understanding of international and country-level implementation of HIV prevention services
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, conflict resolution and organizational skill
• Outstanding communication, presentation, analytical and report writing skills
• High level of interpersonal skills and integrity; solid team player
• Knowledge of epidemiological situation in Ukraine and specifics of HIV/AIDS programs in the regions is desirable
• Relevant University degree (Public Health, Social Work, Medicine etc.)
• Good command of written and spoken English, Ukrainian and Russian.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks independently and meet tough and multiple deadlines
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office, SPSS or other databases and Statistical Packages)
• Ability to think clearly and precisely articulate is essential
• Readiness to go to business trips and work full time
