We are looking to employ an experienced Project Local Coordinator.
Project Local Coordinator is a person responsible for implementation of the Language Component tasks on the regional level.
Location: the Transcarpathian region
Contract duration: 3,5 years
Salary: according to the experience and scope of duties.
The responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:
- overseeing and coordinating the activities of the language component in the target region,
- coordination activities with the Language Specialist and Project Manager,
- working with teachers of minority schools,
- support communication between the Language Specialist and schools, teachers,
- organization of camps,
- planning and report writing.
Desired qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ working experience in the education sector, especially with education of national minorities,
- Good knowledge of the Ukrainian education sector development and familiarity with the New Ukrainian School,
- Excellent Ukrainian and good English, Hungarian preferably,
- Good networking relations with education sector stakeholders,
- Ability to work independently, be pro-active and have good communication skills.
All the above positions require excellent command of English and Ukrainian, both oral and written. Command of Hungarian and/or Romanian is recommendable. Good computer skills and ability to work under pressure is also required.
