EU-funded Project “Improvement of Ukrainian legislation, control, and awareness in food safety, animal health and welfare, and phytosanitary” is looking for Legal Consultants

Qualifications and skills

• At least a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in legal studies

• Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian language;

• Working knowledge of English would be an advantage;

Professional experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in legislation and regulatory development, legal alignment with EU legislation of national legislation, in one or more of the specific fields: veterinary field: animal health, animal welfare, food and feed safety, veterinary medicinal products, animal by-products, zoonosis; official controls and other official activities related to food and feed legislation, rules on animal health and welfare, plant health and plant protection products; plant health and plant protection products, phytosanitary standards, plant health management and quarantine; genetically modified organisms (GMO) and GMO products

• Experience of participating in the implementation of technical assistance / cooperation projects would be considered as an asset.
