Health Programme manager (Київ)

We are looking for a Department Manager Homecare, a position, which will be newly created to complement our team in Lviv. 

The Department Manager is a key position leading Caritas Ukraine’s homecare projects and programs both internally (with other relevant departments of CUA eg Xyxyxy and xyxy) and externally, with state institutions, universities and international donors. Another central task will be the lobbying and advocacy work in the field of homecare / health towards national ministries and regional public institutions and other stakeholders.

The Department Manager should determine the role of Caritas in the context of medical reform in Ukraine (at national and regional levels). 

Your field of responisibility:

• Department Manager Homecare of Caritas Ukraine -country wide
• Development, coordination and implementation of the Homecare projects and programs of Caritas Ukraine and local partner organizations
• Development and implementation of a strategic plan and longterm vision in
• Elaboration of an effective fundraising strategy in cooperation with Advocacy and Communication department
• Establishment of partnerships with state and non-state organizations and institutions of different social sectors at the national, regional and local level which play a key role in achieving the goals of the department.
• Development of policies and other documents in accordance with lobby and advocacy tasks
• Development of new perspectives and activities
• Responsibility to reach defined programme goals 

Your Formal Qualifications:

• Full higher education (relevant special field)
• At least 5 years appropriate job-related experience
• Experience in a management position for NGOs
• Very good knowledge of Ukrainian and English language (fluent written and oral)

• Managerial experience and leadership experience
• Solid knowledge of Project Cycle Management and proven track records in program management
• Knowledge of quality assurance and monitoring tools

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to quickly, competently and interestingly prepare and present information about the project
• Ability to help team members grow and develop
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, search engines, Internet, etc.)
• Readiness to travel to programme’s locations
• Openness to innovation and change 

Preferable additional qualification:

• Knowledge of international development cooperation
• International experience
