The EU funded Project ‘Association4U’, aimed at enhancement of the capacities and performance of Ukraine’s governmental institutions to comprehensively implement their commitments arising from the Association Agreement, is seeking for Junior Communication Fellows to provide support to the Government of Ukraine in development and execution of the AA-related raising awareness campaigns.
The position is especially suitable for (nearly) graduated students with a Bachelor Degree.
The junior fellows will be offered a ‘paid internship’ which means you do not need working experience.
Successful candidates will receive coaching and support from international experts and Associate Fellows, as well as an induction training on various aspects EU integration and AA/DCFTA. The duration of internship for the successful candidates is expected until 31 October 2018.
Current Positions Available
Candidates with an interest in working with:
- Ministry of Information Policy
- Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food
- State Food Safety Service
- State Committee for television and radio broadcasting of Ukraine
The successful Junior Communication Fellow Candidate appointed to this role will be involved in the public communication of the Government Institutions and be ready for a number of tasks, like:
- drafting media invites & press releases
- assisting with the organization of public events
- maintaining social media accounts
- drafting content for web-resources
- contributing to the development of information products (media invites, press releases, op-eds, comments, blogs, presentations, booklets, newsletters, brochures, official monitoring reports promoting AA implementation etc.)
The following professional qualities are required:
- Bachelor Degree in public relations/media/communications or relevant for the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food
- Knowledge of English language (at least level B2 according to Common European Framework)
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Would be an advantage:
- General knowledge of the EU – Ukraine cooperation & AA
- Some previous experience in public relations/media/communications would be an advantage
- Knowledge of information products design software
- Master’s Degree and/or postgraduate studies
