PMCG Ukraine was established in 2020 as an independent organization dedicated to delivering progress, supporting Ukraine to advance in economic development, democracy and good governance through policy, structural and administrative reforms, as well as infrastructure development and support.

The organization has partnership with international companies working in the regions of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa, with bilateral and multilateral development institutions, such as: EBRD, USAID, European Commission, World Bank, UNDP, ADB, JICA and others.

Position Summary

PMCG Ukraine seeks a qualified staff for PIU for the project aimed at rehabilitation of the landfill and construction of new engineered sanitary landfill cells in compliance with the EU standards.

Qualifications requirements for Social Expert

• Preferably B.Sc. degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant sector.
• Preferably 8 years or more of professional experience in similar projects within the required sector, including Social Impact Assessments, Social Action Plans and Livelihood Restoration Plans including for wastepickers in compliance with EBRD and international standards.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of EBRD’s environmental and social requirements and past experience of assistance in their successful implementation.
• Familiarity with local conditions in Ukraine and/or Eastern Europe, former Soviet Republic and/or Baltic countries is considered an advantage.
