Request for Applications RFA-2020-013 – “Export Evolution” Participant Assistance Grants

Dear Applicant:

 The USAID Competitive Economy Program (CEP), implemented by Chemonics International, is seeking grant applications from businesses successfully participating in Export Evolution training to support their business internationalization efforts, in line with their export plans elaborated during the training program. The grants will be awarded and implemented in accordance with USAID and US Government regulations governing grants under contracts and CEP’s internal grant management policies.

Applicants must be businesses, participating in Export Evolution Pro level training program. Full list of eligibility criteria could be found in section IIIA. ELIGIBLE RECIPIENTS of the RFA through the above-mentioned link.  

The application process will consist of a single stage. Applicants shall submit an Application (Annex A), Detailed Grant Budget (Annex B), and Export Plan (Annex C) using the templates provided. Application materials will be reviewed by a selection committee.

 The project will hold a pre-application workshop on June 22, 2020, at a virtual conference online. The information about the workshop will be released on the USAID Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/usaidcep.ua/. This workshop will allow eligible and interested applicants an opportunity to ask questions about the RFA and receive guidance on how to complete the application form. Interested applicants that meet eligibility requirements defined in Section III below and would like to attend this workshop must confirm their attendance by sending the participant’s name and the organization’s name to [email protected].

Project and Chemonics employees may not ask for, and applicants are prohibited from offering, any money, fee, commission, credit, gift, gratuity, thing of value, or compensation to obtain or reward improper favorable treatment regarding this solicitation. Any improper request from a project employee should be reported to the chief of party or [email protected].

4. Certificate of Registration with the Government of Ukraine, or Extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Private Entrepreneurs and Civic Formations
5. Required Certifications (Annex D): 

            – Representation by Corporation Regarding A Delinquent Tax Liability or a Felony Criminal Conviction (per AAPD 14-03)   

            – Prohibition on Providing Federal Assistance to Entities that Require Certain Internal Confidentiality Agreements – Representation (May 2017).
