Dear Applicant,
The USAID Competitive Economy Program (CEP), implemented by Chemonics International, is seeking applications with the objective of (I) developing a comprehensive “Roadmap for Improvement of Ukraine`s positions in the World Bank “Doing Business” Ranking, and (II) suggesting a set of legal and / or regulatory interventions specifically targeted to improve Ukraine`s positions in the World Bank “Doing Business” Ranking. Such developments should be accompanied by a comprehensive analytical overview and the relevant financial calculations of possible “monetized benefits” in case of implementation of the proposed legal and / or regulatory reforms.
This activity envisages cooperation with all stakeholders including the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the State Regulatory Service of Ukraine respective committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and country leading business associations, etc.
Eligible applicants may be Ukrainian think tanks, representative business associations, or other business support non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with relevant expertise in providing analytical, consulting, and legal support for the improvement of the business climate in Ukraine.
The grant will be awarded and implemented in accordance with USAID and U.S. Government regulations governing grants under contract, as well as Chemonics’ and CEP’s internal grant management policies.
