International Alert is a one of the world’s leading peacebuilding organizations having 30 years of experience working with conflict in more than 25 countries. International Alert has been working in Ukraine from 2015. Currently, with financial support from the European Union, International Alert is implementing an 24-months Reweaving the Ukrainian social fabric: supporting community-led peacebuilding and advocacy Project. The project supports civil society organizations and local authorities with methodological skills (analysis, dialogue, advocacy), and with technical expertise to work effectively on the specific conflict issues arising from their own analysis. It will bring civil society and local and national authorities together to identify problems and develop solutions, with authorities informing the work of civil society, and civil society informing the work of authorities. It will also provide small grants to civil society organizations to implement local peacebuilding actions.
