The Program “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and the Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (www.qftp.org) is a Swiss-Ukrainian cooperation program funded by the Swiss Government with the aim to increase value added trade from the organic and dairy sector, both domestic and export market. For strengthening our DAIRY team in Kyiv, we are seeking for September 2023 or by agreement a

DAIRY Junior Specialist (100%, Kyiv, with a possibility to travel)

who is interested in strengthening the team’s performance in implementing the activities to increase SMEs’ trade capacities in the domestic and export markets by systemic capacity development involving both public and private service providers and networks to promote the application of good practices, value addition, and trade development.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Provide support to the team members in the preparation and implementation of the activities, incl. event management
• Coordinate editing, proofreading, and printing of the publications
• Collect and systematize performance-related documentation and materials in paper and electronic form
• Provide support in the preparation of the activity report
• Undertake other related tasks identified by the team members

Ideally, you have the following profile

• A Master in related disciplines (agriculture/livestock/milk processing technology/economics/management/ media & communication
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in related positions
• Understanding and knowledge of the international trade policy and management, the Ukrainian dairy sector, and international requirements related to milk quality and safety are preferred but not required
• Experience in international technical assistance projects is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and excellent self-organizational skills
• Accurate execution of tasks with attention to detail
• Oral and written fluency in English and Ukrainian
