The Swiss Red Cross (SRC) and Ukrainian Red Cross Societies (URCS) are announcing the following vacancy in support of their joint operation in Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil:
SRC Finance Administration Officer
Main Financial and Accounting Responsibilities
To ensure finance department functions efficiently in the area of financial accounting, management, monitoring and reporting:
- Implement financial systems and procedures according to SRC Procedures
- Prepare monthly financial reports and send all relevant documents to country office / SRC HQ
- Ensure filing, archiving and proper storage of all financial documents according to SRC standards
- To assist the Team Leader in preparing budget, budget review and budget implementation monitoring
- To prepare and submit Fund Requests to HQ in order to ensure proper and timely funding of projects’ activities implemented in Ukraine.
- Be a Focal Person on all financial issues with Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil URCS Branches
Administrative Responsibilities
- To provide administrative support as required for the office management and for the projects when dealing with drafting, negotiating contracts, and liaising with suppliers and experts when necessary
HR Responsibilities:
- Provide support in ensuring project with HR, organize recruitment process (draft and announcement on Job vacancies searching engines, receiving and analyzing offers etc)
- Ensure, maintain and update documentation of Project HR, employment dossier, contact list etc
- To act as HR Focal point
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- University Degree in one of the relevant fields: economy, public relations administration, law, international relations.
- Proficiency in English and Ukrainian (both oral and written).
- Proven experience in treasury (fund management) activities, formulating and monitoring budgets and providing appropriate financial analysis with respect to the financial activities.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in project administration, management and/or project implementation.
- Computer literacy (1C vs.8) and working knowledge of spreadsheet applications, and general understanding of the data processing and accounting software.
- Experience in working with NGOs or international organizations is welcomed.
- Driving licence B category is welcomed.
The positions will be based in Ivano-Frankivsk and will be supporting the URCS-SRC activities in Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil.
