Project Overview
Pact Inc., a non-profit organization based in Kyiv, Ukraine, is implementing a GAC-funded project WOMEN INCLUDED: NURTURING GROWTH AND SECURITY (WINGS).
Pact has an immediate need for highly competent country citizens to fill the following position.
Pact exists to help create a world where those who are poor and marginalized exercise their voice, build their own solutions, and take ownership of their future.
Key Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator will ensure the maintenance of project documentation and correspondence, preparation of project materials, including provision of translations, organization of project events.
Specific Duties
- Collaborate with senior program officer and program officers to ensure implementation of all project activities and events.
- Assist procurement officer in coordinating logistical support of project events: developing lists of participants, sending out invitations, communicating with participants coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Assist senior program officer and program officers in developing, translating and storing project documents.
- Managing program files on shared drive.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements
- University degree in economic or social sciences, sociology or a related degree.
- Proficient English language user
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and the ability to perform and collaborate under challenging conditions.
Preferred qualifications
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work collaboratively on a wide range of issues
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a complex workload and deadlines
- Good computer skills
- Excellent written English and Ukrainian
- Pro-active, fast-thinker, and able to work with minimal supervision
