About Mercy Corps:
Mercy Corps is a leading global organization powered by the belief that a better world is possible. In disaster, in hardship, in more than 40 countries around the world, we partner to put bold solutions into action — helping people triumph over adversity and build stronger communities from within.
Now, and for the future.
The Program Summary
Mercy Corps’ Ukraine response meets the humanitarian needs of people affected by the war in Ukraine. Since the escalation of the war in 2022, Mercy Corps has supported over 539,000 people in Ukraine. We have provided cash assistance, food and hygiene kits, and psychosocial support for people in emergency situations; grants for micro, small and medium businesses and farms; and conducted large-scale information campaigns. With continued attacks on critical infrastructure and regular power disruptions, localized solutions to ensure sustainable, reliable and affordable access to energy are increasingly important, both to meet humanitarian needs, as well as to support the recovery of Ukraine.
