Project Summary:

The Support to Anti-Corruption Champion Institutions (SACCI) Program in Ukraine is a six-year USAID initiative that has an objective to assist Ukraine to reduce corruption and increase the accountability and transparency of governance in Ukraine. The program seeks to empower key government institutions to fight corruption, build public support for and engagement in anti-corruption efforts, and reduce citizen tolerance to corruption. SACCI works with the wide spectrum of anti-corruption stakeholders, including the specialized anti-corruption bodies, governmental institutions at national and local levels, the private sector, and civil society watchdog organizations. SACCI seeks to promote transparency and accountability during the time of the Russia’s aggression and the Ukraine reconstruction efforts.

Position Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will be essential to ensure smooth operations and organization within the project. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing and organizing project documents, coordinating meetings and events, and handling travel arrangements. The role involves providing administrative support to the project team, monitoring timelines, maintaining databases, and assisting with project-related documentation. This is an STTA position with an expected level of effort of up to 80 days. 

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage project-related documents and files.
  • Coordinate project meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the project team.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure that tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Maintain project databases.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of project-related documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between the project team and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the preparation of project reports, including data analysis and visualization.
  • Provide support for project-related communications, such as website updates, social media posts, and newsletters. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Additional training in office administration or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience is required.
  • Understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, attention to detail, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with project staff and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to enter data and record keep accurately.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proficiency in office productivity software such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Fluency in written and oral Ukrainian is required. Fluency in English is preferred.
