Pact is an International NGO with offices throughout the world with a mission to enable systematic solutions that allow those who are poor and marginalized to earn a dignified living, be healthy and take part in the benefits that nature provides. Pact accomplishes this by strengthening local capacity, forging effective governance systems and transforming markets into a force for development. Pact Inc. is implementing a USAID-funded project Public Health System Recovery and Resilience Activity. The primary goal of PHS R&R is to strengthen the Government of Ukraine (GoU)’s capacity to prevent, detect and respond to public health threats, sustain critical public health services during a crisis, and protect the health of all Ukrainians including vulnerable and marginalized groups.

As part of developing regional immunization plans, Pact seeks a vendor to conduct workshops focused on the lessons learned from responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in eight specific focus regions.

The objective of these workshops is to provide a platform for stakeholders from each respective region to engage in in-depth discussions and share their knowledge and experiences in responding to the COVID-19 crisis. By adopting a combined approach, the workshops ensure that the unique challenges, successful strategies, and areas for improvement observed in each region are comprehensively captured and analyzed.

One of the primary outcomes of these workshops is to develop actionable recommendations. These recommendations will be based on the collective knowledge and experiences shared by the stakeholders. They will provide valuable insights for informing and shaping future public health policies, programs, and response plans. The intention is to enhance the overall resilience and capacity of the public health system, not only in the focus regions but also beyond, as these lessons learned can be applied to similar crises globally.

The workshops’ comprehensive analysis and resulting recommendations will contribute to the broader goal of strengthening public health systems and improving preparedness and response capabilities to effectively address and manage future challenges and crises.
