Onlіne еxchаngе prоgrаm fоr vоluntеers — Cаmp Chаngеmаkіng
Russia’s war against Ukraine united the entire civilized world and once again proved that even the smallest actions done by many people at once can change any situation for the better.
To bring volunteer cooperation to the next level and unite various grassroots initiatives both in Ukraine and abroad, America House Kyiv is launching a virtual exchange program Camp Changemaking. This program will bring together passionate movers and shakers from Ukraine, the U.S.A. and from all over the world to exchange their experiences, strengthen the international volunteering network, and foster impactful initiatives locally and globally.
With a special focus on Ukraine, program participants will explore the most pressing issues the world faces today and how individuals and organized initiatives can work for a better future. During Camp Changemaking you will:
- Learn more about global grassroots initiatives from experts and peers, and share your own experience on the reality of volunteering in your country today.
- Meet Ukrainian, American and global volunteers who are working on the ground and from a distance to mitigate the consequences of the most devastating war in Europe since the Second World War.
- Network with like-minded individuals to troubleshoot your own challenges and combine forces to bring greater impact to your volunteer work.
- Exchange cultures while developing new connections through group discussions and meeting counterparts from around the globe.
The program will take place from July 7 until July 21 and will consist of three group sessions, one of which will be scheduled by the participants. Participation in the program is free of charge. The working language of the program will be English.
