Accounting Specialist (full-time, Kyiv)

Key responsibilities include inter alia:
- Manage funds, cash flow, and payments (bank and cash), ensuring compliance.
- Execute payments (bank transfers and cash) in compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile AR, AP, GL, fixed assets, and bank/cash accounts.
- Post business trip reports, incoming invoices, delivery notes, act of expenses, etc)
- Perform regular reconciliation of trial balance, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure proper recording and classification of transactions in line with accounting standards and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate supporting documentation for all transactions, including scanning and filing of hard copies of documents.
- Monitor and manage outstanding receivables and payables, ensuring timely collection and settlement.
- Conduct aging analysis and follow up with counterparties where required.
- Support audits and revisions by Headquarters and external reviewers.
- Conduct trainings for staff and collaborated across units to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and organizational policies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required qualifications, competences and experience:
- University degree in accounting and finance or similar degree.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as accountant.
- Native written and spoken Ukrainian; excellent command of the English language; knowledge of German is a strong asset.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, Excel).
- Confidential treatment of data and information.
- Reliability, flexibility, high loyalty, high self-discipline, team player.

Employment conditions
Full-time position with a 40-hour working week. The contract duration is 1 year. Prolongation is possible. Starting as soon as possible or upon discussion, but not later than 1 January 2026.
