Location: Kyiv, Ukraine (with regional/international travel as required), hybrid

Role Overview
The Business Development Expert will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while strengthening Arroyo Legacy’s market position. The role combines client engagement, proposal development, and market research to support strategic growth. The Expert will cultivate strong relationships with donors, government agencies, contractors, and local partners, while also analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and geopolitical developments. This position requires both a results-driven approach to business development and strong analytical skills to provide actionable insights for senior management and guide organizational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Spot and develop new business opportunities in defense, infrastructure, logistics, and technical assistance sectors.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare compelling proposals and client presentations.
- Support deal negotiations and help close partnerships that deliver real value.
- Track and report business development activities.
- Represent Arroyo Legacy at conferences, industry forums, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
- Experience working with holding companies or diversified businesses is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of donor-funded projects, defense logistics, or infrastructure sectors.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working.
- Fluency in English required; Ukrainian or Russian an advantage.
