Pact seeks a consultant for the USAID/ Public Health System Recovery and Resilience Activity. The consultant is expected to support program activities of PHS R&R Activity and coordinate with CPH.

Period of performance: 1 year with the possibility of extension.

Main purpose of consultancy support 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Technical team with preparation and conducting program activities and events: communication with partners to invite/confirm participation in trainings and events, collecting information and data from partners, circulating information per guidance from program staff responsible for event/training.
  • Prepare materials as necessary to program staff to use on official trips or meetings.
  • Prepares informal translations for program related correspondence and materials.
  • Route program correspondence to and from concerned program staff and maintains follow up system.
  • Draft correspondence on variety of program related matters.
  • Keep list of names, addresses and telephone numbers of project counterparts, government officials.
  • May be assigned additional duties and responsibilities as required of the job.
  • Coordinate cooperation with Center for Public Health.
  • Provide other technical support.

Deliverables

  • Provide reports on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

  • University diploma. A minimum of one year of clerical or administrative experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a complex workload and deadlines.
  • Excellent communications, writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Ukrainian.
  • Highly effective administration skills including computing, word processing and internet use. Advanced level keyboard skills and computer literacy on a variety of software applications (MS Word, Excel, Access, Open-net, etc.). 
  • Pro-active, intuitive, fast-thinker, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be familiar with the office practices, particularly in the project management field.
  • Ability to organize routine data and maintain established procedures.  Ability to be flexible, resourceful and service-oriented in dealing with people.
  • Experience in public health sector will be an advantage.
