Pact is an International NGO with offices throughout the world with a mission to enable systematic solutions that allow those who are poor and marginalized to earn a dignified living, be healthy and take part in the benefits that nature provides. Pact accomplishes this by strengthening local capacity, forging effective governance systems, and transforming markets into a force for development. Pact Inc. is implementing a GAC-funded project Women Included: Nurturing Growth and Security (WINGS). The WINGS project offers a comprehensive, tailored package of services targeting rural, marginalized and vulnerable women to enhance their economic security by enabling their success as employees and entrepreneurs. Working in four regions – Lviv, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Poltava – WINGS focuses primarily on rural women, who face additional barriers to fulfilling their personal and economic potential due to negative stereotypes, limited access to resources and constrained employment opportunities. The project is creating a competitive, innovative, sustainable environment for the growth of women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises and providing employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Background

Pact seeks a consultant to provide technical support in program and MERL activities for the GAC-funded project Women Included: Nurturing Growth & Security (WINGS) which is aimed at enhancing economic prosperity for women and the most vulnerable and marginalized living in Ukraine through enhancing employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities (Tasks):

• Collect data from WINGS project graduates who launched their businesses;
• Maintain the database and develop publication of the WINGS project graduates who launched their businesses;
• Moderate a chat for project graduates in Telegram;
• Conduct survey among BMV participants;
• Transfer data from paper questionnaires to electronic format;
• Develop database on additional resources and programs aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs;
• Provide support in collaboration with Employment centers;
• Conduct mentoring visits to project regions;
• Other duties if required.

Period of performance: October 1, 2023 – September 30, 2024 (15 days per month, totally 180 days per implementation period)

Deliverables:

• Updated database and publication of the WINGS project graduates who launched their businesses.
• Moderated chat for project graduates.
• Filled relevant project databases or tracking tools.
• Developed database on additional resources and programs aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs.
• Ensured quality collaboration with Employment centers (training for Employment centers representatives and surveys are conducted).
• Mentoring visits are conducted.
