Pact Inc. is implementing a USAID-funded project Public Health System Recovery and Resilience Activity. The primary goal of PHS R&R is to strengthen the Government of Ukraine (GoU)’s capacity to prevent, detect and respond to public health threats, sustain critical public health services during a crisis, and protect the health of all Ukrainians including vulnerable and marginalized groups.
Background
Pact seeks the consultant to support sociological research.
Duties and Responsibilities (Tasks)
- In collaboration with Community health unit conduct analysis of statistical data on CHNA.
- Provide inputs into CHNA report preparation.
- Provide inputs into KAP survey result preparation, in coordination with sociological agency.
- Provide inputs into sociological research on public health trust and MH stigma, in coordination with sociological agency.
- In collaboration with M&E unit support other sociological research.
- Provide other technical support in project research.
Period of performance: May–July 2023 (no more than 40 days in total)
Deliverables
- Prepared report on statistical data on CHNA.
- Provided feedback CHNA report.
- Provided feedback KAP survey report.
- Provided feedback on sociological research report on public health trust and MH stigma.
Requirements:
- University diploma in sociology, marketing or other relevant field.
- At least one year of experience in sociological or marketing research development.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a complex workload and deadlines.
- Excellent communications, writing and presentation skills.
- Highly effective administration skills including computing, word processing and internet use. Advanced level keyboard skills and computer literacy on a variety of software applications.
- Pro-active, intuitive, fast-thinker, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in public health sector will be an advantage.
