Pact, Inc. is implementing “Women included: nurturing growth and security” project (WINGS) with financial support from the Government of Canada.
The project’s goal is enhanced economic prosperity for women and the most vulnerable and marginalized living in Ukraine. The goal will be achieved through:
- Improved economic security of rural women and the most vulnerable or marginalized, especially those affected by the conflict.
- Strengthened employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for women and the most vulnerable and marginalized.
In Year 1, Pact and its implementing partners conducted a mapping exercise to determine the availability of community and regional resources supporting the women’ economic empowerment agenda, developed a comprehensive service package, and tested its prototype through HCD activities in target communities.
In June – August 2023, Pact and implementing partners will conduct recurrent HCD activities in target communities to ensure ongoing feedback loops with project beneficiaries. Through this exercise, Pact will assess the relevance of the proposed approach and adapt, if needed.
HCD exercise will take place in June – July 2023 in the format of focus group discussions (FGDs) with beneficiaries. Pact and partners will conduct eight FGDs, two per Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv and Poltava regions. In August, Pact will analyze findings from the HCD exercise.
Pact seeks a consultant to:
- Conduct eight focus group discussions in eight project communities together with the local coordinators in accordance with a guide developed by Pact team.
- Prepare transcripts of eight focus group discussions (approximately 1,5 hours duration) in accordance with agreed structure.
- Analyze data and develop the report based on FGDs’ findings.
- Develop visualization based on the key findings from FGDs (in collaboration with Pact designer).

To provide technical assistance to WINGS MERL team in conducting focus group discussions in target communities and analyzing data.
