Консультант_ка: послуги психосоціальної підтримки, такі як базове консультування, для внутрішньо переміщених та вразливих осіб, а також приймаючих сімей на рівні громади (громадські центри та місцеві рівні)

Service Description

Service Title:  Provision of the psychosocial support such as basic counselling to internally displaced and vulnerable people as well as host families at the community level (community centres and field levels)

Place of service provision: Bucha Hromada, Kyiv oblast

Scope of the Services:

  • Conduct mapping of services in the area of operations (where the Case Manager is allocated) and document it in the Referral Matrix for use to ensure accurate referrals. Update the Referral Matrix every month.
  • Conduct outreach basic counseling and home visits and document it.
  • Guide outreach workers/Volunteers who provide information about services available in the operational area to clients or community members.
  • Prepare and conduct psychoeducation sessions for MHPSS Clients and their respective family members using the relevant forms and MHPSS booklets developed and approved by CESVI MHPSS Specialist.
  • Prepare and support mental health awareness sessions for individuals and groups at the local community level using the relevant forms and background documentation developed and approved by CESVI MHPSS Specialist.
  • Comprehend, fully understand and commit to MHPSS case management model.
  • Work closely with the members of the MHPSS team of the Center for Psychological Assistance of Bucha City Council and CESVI MHPSS Specialist to develop and follow up on the intervention plans.
  • Complete intake assessments using the Case Manager’s toolkit provided that includes all case management forms according to the case management steps.
  • Maintain accurate records, cases/beneficiaries’ files, and clean on the weekly basis the client folder
  • The Case Manager will be an essential source of providing accurate referrals and ensure adequate follow-up of all cases referred, including recommendations before referring patients to the nearest MH Hospital/ MH professional when needed upon consultation with the Psychologist and document the client file accordingly.
  • Promote and introduce CESVI’s mental health and psychosocial (MHPSS) services to institutions, centers, health facilities, among family doctors and individuals;
  • Prepare and submit reports on weekly basis.
  • Attend trainings provided by CESVI when such trainings are planned and implemented. If the trainings are provided by other stakeholders, Case Manager’s participation must be approved by CESVI in advance.
  • Deliver MHPSS trainings when needed.

Terms of the Services provision:

  • The services shall be provided in person from 14 August 2023 to 31 December 2023 40 hours per week.
  • The Participant must use ONLY tools and methodology approved by CESVI for the provision of the services.

Terms of payment:

The Participant shall be registered as a Private Entrepreneur and shall be the only responsible for the fulfilment of payments of all taxes and other fixed cost or additional fees/costs due according to the Ukrainian taxation system, related with all the activities provided.

Payment shall be made monthly by the 20th day of the month upon acceptance of the services from CESVI.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Humanities (Psychology, Social Work; anthropology, philosophy, sociology or education (Bachelor) or any equivalent.

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years in the field of social/ cultural work or education. Previous NGO experience is a plus.

Skills and Competences:

  • Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian. English is an asset.
  • Adheres to ethical considerations and principles in regard to working with vulnerable populations.
  • Previous experience in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support programs and activities is a plus.
  • Living in Bucha or surrounding area.
  • Be able to work in emergency situations.

Submission Process:

The following documents are to be provided:

  • Resume/CV and motivation letter describing relevant experience and including information on the cost of one hour of service provision in UAH.
  • Documents confirming education (diplomas, certificates, etc.).
  • Registration documents of a private entrepreneur: a copy of the Certificate of State Registration of a Private Entrepreneur or Extract from the Unified State Register, a taxpayer’s certificate.
