Pact Inc. is implementing a USAID-funded project Public Health System Recovery and Resilience Activity. The primary goal of PHS R&R is to strengthen the Government of Ukraine (GoU)’s capacity to prevent, detect and respond to public health threats, sustain critical public health services during a crisis, and protect the health of all Ukrainians including vulnerable and marginalized groups.

Pact seeks a consultant to provide technical support in the area of immunization within the framework of implementation of the USAID Public Health System Recovery and Resilience Activity (PHS R&R)  which is aimed to strengthen the GoU’s capacity to prevent, detect and respond to public health threats; sustain critical public health services during a crisis; expand mental health support to veterans and war-affected populations; and protect the health of all Ukrainians including vulnerable and marginalized population groups.

Main purpose of consultancy/technical support

• Take part in the information events, such as meetings, seminars, workshops, webinars and others at the national, regional and subregional levels.
• Co-Facilitate strategic sessions on the development of regional immunization plans and management of immunization program at the regional level in the PHS R&R focus regions.
• Contribute to the development of regulatory documents and national clinical guidelines in the area of immunization.

Period of performance: January 2023 – April 2023 (no more than 10 days per month)

Deliverables

1. Presentations and other materials for information events such as meetings, seminars, workshops, webinars and others at the national, regional and subregional levels are prepared and delivered to the target audience in timely and professional manner
2. Strategic sessions on the development of regional immunization plans and management of immunization program in 8 focus regions of PHS R&R are held
3. Priority regulatory documents and national clinical guidelines in the area of immunization PR-materials on the CPH activities and initiatives are developed
4. Consultant’s activities are coordinated with the Project team, and the Project receives the necessary reporting as required.

Timeline:

1. Relevant sessions of the information events are prepared in timely and professional manner, and delivered to target audiences – 30 April 2023
2. Regional strategies and/or plans on immunization are developed in 8 focus regions – 15 March 2023
3. Selected regulatory documents are developed and submitted to PHS R&R – 30 April 2023

Requirements:

• Technical expertise in the area of immunization with at least 10 years of the relevant professional experience
• Experience in the facilitation of national and regional events on immunization
• Documented experience on the delivering of educational/information events for the wide range of stakeholders in the area of immunization
• Fluency in Ukrainian (literate oral and written communications)
• Focus on results, strong teamwork and communication skills, interest in continuous professional development.
