Deloitte is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a short-term Data Entry Compiler for Developing Health Workforce Optimization Plan in support of USAID/Ukaid Health Reform Support (HRS).

Period of Performance: February 18, 2021 – March 3, 2021
Level of Effort: 10 working days 

Project Background and Summary:

The purpose of the USAID/Ukaid Health Reform Support is to support a transparent, accountable, and effective health care system that is capable of meeting the health needs of the Ukrainian people. Advancing health sector reforms, enhancing transparency, and tackling corruption will reduce out-of-pocket payments and improve access and availability of high quality, evidence-based health care services for Ukrainians. Elimination of corruption is a cross-cutting theme across all objectives to be achieved by this activity, which include:

  1. Improve health sector governance.
  2. Support the transformation of the healthcare financing model.
  3. Strengthen the health workforce.
  4. Enhance transparency, accountability and responsiveness of the health care system.
  5. Improve service delivery system at all levels.

Background/Objective

The Data Entry Compiler will collect health workforce data in Zhytomyr region at facility level.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data on health workforce from all specialized healthcare facilities in Zhytomyr region.
  • Enter data into a separate form for each specialized healthcare facility in Zhytomyr region.
  • Data should be collected on number of staff particularly administrative staff, physicians, nurses, non-medical staff.
  • Data should include information on physicians, nurses, and non-medical staff for each department of all specialized healthcare facilities in Zhytomyr region.

Qualification requirements (minimum):

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics or related area.
  • Upper-intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) and, additionally, statistical packages for data analysis and data visualization.
  • Analytical skills and critical thinking for searching, processing, using data and presenting post-analysis results.
